Lisa has more than 14 years public practice and commercial experience, after commencing her career in 1996 with mid tier city based firm, Greenwood Challoner, in a combined Business Services and Superannuation role.
Lisa continued her career in Business Services and Superannuation while working with local firm Harmer & Cassin for many years, and then turned her focus to the “other side” of the financial services industry through specialist tax contracts with ING and Macquarie Bank, before returning to public practice on the Central Coast in 2006.
Lisa specialises in technical advice and audit work for the Self Managed Superannuation industry, structuring advice to start up and growth businesses. Lisa enjoys working closely with business from many sectors including electrical companies, solar businesses, IT providers and business involved in all aspects of hospitality.
Lisa contributes to the superannuation and tax industry through her involvement with various tax committees, and her current involvement with SPAA, the professional body that represents the Self Managed Superannuation Industry. Lisa has been recognised by SPAA as both a specialist SMSF advisor and a specialist SMSF auditor. In 2011 Lisa was awarded the SPAA CEO Scholarship.
Lisa has a particular interest in assisting family owned businesses with all matters relating to their business and personal wealth, including succession and estate planning matters, as well as assisting other firms streamline their superannuation divisions by offering a solution for annual compliance and specialist technical advice at a competitive price.
Lisa predominately works with her client base on the Central Coast, however, travels to both Sydney and the Gold Coast office to meet with clients on a regular basis.
Lisa is married to John, who she met in 1996 at Greenwood Challoner, they have a young daughter Tahlia and a much loved Labrador, Tessa. In her leisure time Lisa enjoys playing Netball for Northern Valley Netball Club, Snowboarding with her husband John, Wakeboarding with her army friends and Investing through her Superannuation Fund and Family Trust.
Lisa is involved with the local community through her participation in the Cancer Council Mingara Relay for Life, as well as giving her time to assist local sporting clubs maintain their accounting records, and report back to their boards.
